This layering stencil creates a very detailed and intricate ocean depth background. It almost looks like the water at different depth and the movement of the water around the depth, creating shallow and deeper areas within the water, along with waves. using darker colors for those deeper areas in the ocean and then working towards lighter blues or turquoise for those more shallow areas within the ocean. The very top layer represents water bubbles that look like they are coming up from the depth of the ocean. I like the bubbles in white as it looks like bubbles are filled with oxygen\/air, but they could probably look interesting in a very dark tone as well. The top layer of bubbles creates a lot of additional texture that can also be left off if it distracts too much from the main Koi Fish elements. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOn a separate note, that stencil that looks like a bubble layer also looks like a fun circular birthday background or just a very generic party background that I could see myself use for totally different cards not at all related to this water\/ocean themed background, that it was intended for. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe layers have a lot of great detail, and provide interest, texture and dimension. This matching 5 Layer stencil set will enable you to masterfully create and color your bubble water scene. Each stencil layer is clearly marked at the bottom as layer 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 and each layer is very easy to line up to your previously stenciled image. This stencil does not coordinate with any stamp or any other die - it is just a stand alone background stencil used to provide a background design pattern for our koi fish and other collection elements \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eto “be grounded by” or to be attached to.
