This beautiful shaker card was created using the stamps and patterned papers that came in the Simon Says Stamp February card kit. The background was created with the 6x6 background stamp that came in the kit. I inked up the stamp with pink ink and stamped it onto some white card-stock. After that, I die cut a heart from the top of the panel. I added a light pink heart frame to further accent the heart shaped window. Behind the window, I placed some acetate behind the panel. I then adhered a black piece of paper onto the card base. On top of the black paper, I glued down the beautiful heart with roses and leaves. This image came from the stamp-set in the kit. The stamp was completely hand colored with prisms colored pencils. To create the shaker mechanism, I placed foam tape around the window in order for the sequins to move around easily. I added some clear and white sequins behind the window as my shaker bits. To finish the card off I white heat embossed the sentiment “even after all this time I still love you” onto some black card-stock. I trimmed the sentiment down to a thin strip and added it towards the bottom of my custom background panel. The panel was the adhered to its matted with black cardstock and adhered onto a Simon Says Stamp 110 pound black card base.
