A2 Cloud Pop up Card

Hey Y'all!!! I'm so excited to showcase another a beautiful card as part of the Design Team for Scrappy Tails Crafts.  I'm showcasing one of the new die sets from Scrappy Tails Crafts 'Midsummer Night's Dream' collection, the A2 Cloud Cover Plate die set. This is such a beautiful cover plate with the stitched clouds. It also includes plenty of stand alone clouds and stars to create a beautiful card. Inside the card, is a fun  scene that pops right up and off the card.  This is available in my Etsy store HERE!  All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).

I saw a fun video from Jennifer McGuire, which was the inspiration behind this card.  Loved the way the inside popped open to a beautiful scene.

       The 'A2 Cloud Cover Plate' includes a large cloud frame die and several stars, clouds and a moon. For my card, I added the frame die to the inside and outside of the card. I scattered a few individual clouds throughout the scenes. The clouds include a detail and solid layer to add more interest. You can use them together or separately.  I decided to use them together.  Then choose whether you'd like to add stars, a moon or other elements to finish the scene and add more color.

The card base is cut from Stampin' UP!'s 'Balmy Blue' card stock.  Layered on top of the base is a background pattern paper from Whimsy Stamps. Bummer because it's retired!  The top layer is the frame from the 'A7 Cloud Frame Cover Plate', which I cut from Stampin' UP!'s 'Basic White' card stock.

 

The sentiment is from the Scrappy Tails Crafts 'Fairy Sentiments' stamp set.  Lots of beautiful sentiments to put together in a variety of ways.
