Beautiful Ink Blended Butterflies
Hello Scrappy Tail fans, Waleska Galindo here with you today, to share a new card using a few beautiful butterfly die cuts from Scrappy Tails Crafts.
This awesome die set has 2 different butterflies that each include a shadow layer. You can use them in many different ways. Today, I decided to die cut them in black glitter cardstock.
I hope you like my card and are inspired to use these beautiful butterflies!
CARD DETAILS:
To create this card, I started by creating the ink blended background directly on my card base. The cardbase is an A2 size (4.25x5.5"). I used some washi tape to create a smaller rectangle in the center and inked the inside with Distress Oxide inks in colors: pink flamingo and peacock feathers.
I then die cut the two butterflies from the Open Butterflies die set from black glitter cardstock. For a dramatic look, I used the same colors from the background to ink up the back of each of my butterflies.
I finally adhered both of them to the front panel. I glued only the middle part of the butterflies so they look like they are flying away. Lastly I stamped the sentiment "Faith, trust and a little pixie dust" to the bottom left side. This sentiment comes from the "Fairy Girl" 4x4 stamp set. Lastly, I added some sequins. I love how this card looks specially with the 3D effect you can achieve with these beautiful butterflies!
