Hello, friends!! I hope you’re all doing well!!

I have a sweet friendship card to share with you today for Scrappy Tails Crafts!! I used the Sweet Treats 6x8 Stamp Set. This set is filled with delicious sweet treats! I chose to work with the cake, along with the cake stand and cloche today!!

I began by stamping the images from the Sweet Treats Stamp Set with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them in with Copic markers and fussy cut them out. (The Coordinating Dies are available, but I don’t have them yet, so I just cut them out by hand.) As a final touch, I added some highlights with a white gel pen.

The doily was cut from white card stock using a die from the A7 Valentine Coffee Mug Add-On Die Set. I adhered it to a panel of gingham patterned paper and aqua card stock. Then I glued both panels to a white, top-folding card base and trimmed the excess from the left edge. The cake, stand and cloche were adhered with foam adhesive.

The sentiment, also from the Sweet Treats Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black card stock and fussy cut.

The hearts were die-cut from white card stock using dies from the Scalloped Heart Add-On Die Set. I colored them with the same Copic markers that I used for the hearts on the cake. The sentiment and hearts were also popped up with foam tape.

Lastly, I added some crystal glaze to the hearts, berries and frosting for some added shine. I think the frosting turned out looking so realistic!!
