Camouflage Die Cutting

Hello again! Kristina here today sharing another Valentine card that features the new Sweet Treats 6x8 stamp set and Sweet Bear 4x6 stamp set from Scrappy Tails Crafts.  Lets dive right in!

Now, let me walk you through a quick tutorial. First, I stamped the heart shaped cake pop from the "Sweet Treats" stamp set all over a panel of Neenah Solar White card stock using a Copic safe black ink.
Then I added color with Copic markers.  I used R59, R39 and R35 to color around the cake pops. I used T5, T3 and T1 on the cake pops to help them pop.  I colored the sprinkles with R32.
To add some texture, I used a paper towel with some colorless blender refill and randomly dabbed over the red areas.
I took some large letter dies in my stash and die cut the word "hug" directly from the colored panel.  I also die cut the letters out three times from black card stock.  I glued all of the letters together for added dimension.
Then, I adhered the colored panel on a white card base and glued the letters back inside the cut out areas. Lastly, I added a layer of shimmer pen to the letters.
As a finishing touch, I added a layer of glossy accents to the letters, and splattered the panel with silver acrylic paint.
Once everything was dry, I added a small silver embossed sentiment. I stamped "love you" from the Sweet Bear stamp set with Versamark ink onto black card  stock. Then, I glued it below my hug word die, and the card is finished!
As always, thanks SO much for stopping by!
~Kristina
