Cardinal Holiday Card
Hello there! Waleska here, and I'm very happy to be sharing with you a new card for the month of November... My card was made using the new Layering Cardinal dies and last years' "Wreath Spinner" die set, let's take a look!
CARD DETAILS:
I started by cutting and assembling the all pieces from the new "Layering Cardinals" die set by Scrappy Tails. I used two shades of red and black card stock for the cardinal's body. I filled the eye of the cardinal in with a white gel pen.
I then cut the base of the Christmas Wreath Spinner die from light green card stock. I used Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink around the edges of the wreath to add more dimension. I also used some gold glitter die cut stars and red gems to decorate the wreath!
I used a blue card stock panel for the background. Around the edges of the panel I ink blended Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide ink. Then, I flicked a shimmery water color paint on the background. In the center, I adhered the wreath and cardinal. To finish off my project, I added a sentiment from the Christmas Icon 4 x 6 stamp set and adhered the blue panel to a kraft card base.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope I inspired you to recreate this beautiful Christmas card
