Clean and Simple Coffee Card
Hi everyone!
Happy Monday! Today, I am sharing a fun card using some of the Scrappy Tails stamps and dies released in January. The "Hug in a Mug" collection is all about coffee and chocolate, and if you know me, I love both.
For my card today I decided to use the "Coffee Love" 6x8 stamp set and coordinating dies.
To make this card, start by stamping the bird's-eye view coffee image from the "Coffee Love" stamp set on Xpress-it card stock using Copic friendly black ink. Use Copic markers, or any other alcohol markers or coloring medium of your choice to color the image.
For my image I used:
E79, E39, E37, E35, E23, E21 (coffee)
RV17, RV14, RV13, RV11, RV10 (heart)
BG78, BG75, BG72 (cup)
T8, T7, T6, T4, T2, T1 and T0 (spoon)
Use it's coordinating die to cut the image out.
In my stash, I found a gray foiled card stock that worked great for my card. I trimmed it to 4" x 5 1/4".
Then, I cut a piece of white card stock measuring 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". I adhered a patterned paper strip that measures 7/8" x 3 1/2" across the center of the panel. On the top right, I stamped a sentiment using black ink. Then, I adhered the latte mug with foam tape.
Using craft foam or stacked pieces of card stock adhere this panel to the foiled gray background. Then adhere the entire panel to a white note card to finish it off!
That's my card today, thank you for stopping by!

I love how she pulled the colors out of the paper for her colored images. Really ties everything together!
