Coffee Valentine Card
Hello crafty friends!
I'm so excited today to be here sharing with you my first card as a member of the Scrappy Tails Crafts' Design Team!
Like many of you, I'm a real coffee addict. I immediately fell in love with the new "Coffee Love" 6x8 stamp set, which is what I used for today's card design!
I started making my card by cutting a 5.5"x4.25" rectangle from white watercolor paper. I sprayed my panel with Speckled Egg and Salvaged Patina Distress Spray Stain. For shine, I also sprayed Snow Flurries Distress Mica Stain.
Next, I used the smallest scalloped and stitched heart dies from the "Scalloped Heart Add-on" die set to emboss my card panel.
I then used winterberry and peppermint stick Distress Crayons to color the embossed scalloped heart.
Then, I stamped images from the "Coffee Love" stamp set. I colored them in with alcohol markers and die cut them with their coordinating dies.
I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape. I stamped a sentiment with archival black ink, and added some bright pink sequins around it.
