Daisy Brick Wall Slimline Card
Hi everyone. Today, I am sharing my latest project for Scrappy Tails Crafts using the "Slimline Brick Background" die set and the "Layering Daisies" die set. For my sentiment, I chose one from the new "Oopsy Daisy" 6x6 stamp set. All of these products are from the new March "Home is Where Mom is" release!
First, I die cut the daises from watercolor paper. This paper is thicker and will hold water when molding and shaping the petals. I colored the die cut daisies with zig clean color real brush markers and spritzed each flower with water, so I could give my flowers a 3D look. I used my embossing tool, and cupped each bloom and added some glitter to give my flowers some added sparkle. A few of my flowers also have stemens, which I threaded through the daisy centers.
Once done, I glued everything with my hot glue gun and adhered everything together. My brick wall was actually cut using thin balsa wood paper which works beautifully with this die set. I went with a simple kraft and cream background for the wall. I left a few of the brick inside to add interest to the background.
