Die Cut Mini Ghost Background
Hello Friends! Waleska here, excited to share with you a fun Spooky card I made using some new products from the "Harvest Blessings" collection! For my card today, I used the cute Friendly Mini Ghosts die and a bunch of colorful inks!
I started by die cutting all of the ghosts from white card stock. I needed a bunch, because I wanted to fill the entire front of my card base with them. I then started inking each of the ghosts with Distress Oxide inks in the colors: Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron and Carved Pumpkin. On each ghost, I left some white still showing to give them a highlight.
I then started adhering all of the ghosts on a black card panel cut to an A2 card size. I tried to mix all the different colored ghosts without having two of the same color side by side. I die cut the word BEWARE from the A7 Storefront Halloween House Add on. I inked each letter with the same colors of ink I used for the ghosts. I die cut the word again from black card stock and offset each letter to create a shadow.
I cut a strip from vellum and adhered it to the center of the panel. (that way the word BEWARE can stand out from that busy background). I was feeling the card was missing something so I added some silver star sequins around the ghosts!
