Easter Greeting Card
Hello Friends and Happy Easter! Today. I wanted to share with you an Easter card to celebrate this beautiful day. I used the new Hello Butterfly stencil and die set from the recent release to make this card design, along with an older Spring Essentials die set.
PROJECT DETAILS:
I opted to go for a pastel Easter color combo with this design. To create it, I started by die cutting the tall grass and two floral Easter eggs from the Spring Essentials die set with white card stock. I also cut the Hello Butterfly from white. I decided not to use it's coordinating stencil, but rather add color to all the die cut elements with Distress Oxide inks in Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers, Kitsch Flamingo and Cracked Pistachio.
I used a gold glitter card stock for the back of the eggs and some details on the butterfly wings. I arranged and adhered all the pieces to a kraft card panel and splattered white acrylic paint mixed with water to add texture to the scene.
To finish my card, I inked a matte panel with the same colors I used before and finally adhered everything to a white card base. The hello sentiment is included in the Hello Butterfly set.
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope this inspires you to create something today! Have a great Easter!
