Embossed Snowflake Card | Holiday Card Series Day 3

Happy first day of November! For day 3 of my Holiday card series, I'm sharing another heat embossed Christmas card. I love the elegant and professional look of heat embossing on cards. Therefore, I have really gravitated towards my embossing powders this Holiday season! Once again, I feel like this would be another fantastic card to give to a man on Christmas. Yes there's bling and gold metallic elements, but it is Christmas after all!

For this card, I used all of the snowflakes from the Folk Art Snowflakes stamp set by Gina K. Designs. I stamped some on grey card stock with versamark ink and embossed them with white embossing powder. I stamped some more snowflakes as well as the Merry Christmas sentiment on white card stock and embossed them with gold embossing powder.  The sentiment comes from a Gina K. Designs stamp set called Christmas Silhouettes. I ran all of my snowflakes through my die cut machine using their coordinating dies. I had to fussy cut the sentiment with my scissors. I wanted to add a white panel behind my snowflakes. However, I felt it was just a little to plain. To add some texture, I ran my white panel through my die cut machine with a polka dot embossing folder. The white panel was cut to (4.75x4.75"). To add even more elegance to the card, I added 2.5" vellum strip across the center of my card to back my sentiment, which I popped up with foam tape. I layered my white and gold snowflakes on top of my grey and white ones, then scattered them around my sentiment. To add some sparkle, I decided to center my snowflakes with some gold gems.
