Fairytale Pop up Shadow Box Book
What would you imagine a book from William Shakespeare to look like? I imagine purple and gold. Can't you just see this beautiful gold book up on a bookshelf? Something royalty might have. Even better it's filled with beautiful fairies flying around by the light of the moon!
I started with this absolutely COOL ‘A7 Book Pop Up' Die set from Scrappy Tails Crafts. To see how the book is constructed, check out Sabrina's Youtube video tutorial HERE.
- A Midsummer Night's Dream 3x4 stamp set (free with purchase of at least $75+)
- Fairy Girl 4x4 stamp set
- Fairy Girl Coordinating die
- Fairy Friends 6x8 stamp set
- Fairy Friends coordinating dies
- Viny Ivy Branch A7 Coverplate
- Fairy Dust Swirl Hot Foil Plate
All of the stamped images were gold heat embossed on cream cardstock. The purple frame of the shadow box was cut from the Ivy Branch A7 Coverplate. The back wall of the shadow box features a light purple background where I hot foiled the Fairy Dust Swirl Hot foil plate. I added some cool looking webbed fabric for texture in my shadow box. I feel It gives the scene such a magical feel! On the left side of the book, I added the large Fairy Girl stamped image along with a few sentiments from the same stamp set.
Thank you so much for reading my blog post today!
