Halloween Slimline Shaker Shadow Box Card | Halloween Card Series Day 7

Hello and welcome! Today, I created a "Pet Cemetery" inspired interactive card, within an interactive card today. That's right, I created a slimline shadow box with a shaker frame attached to the front! How you may ask? Check out the video tutorial below to see how it came together, it's way easier than you think!

Unfortunately, I have decided to end my Halloween card series short this year due to my very busy schedule. However, I will continue the scary movie card series next year! Luckily, I am starting my holiday card series this week, which I know
you all will love!

Jamie is so amazing and allowed me to create a fun slimline shadow box card using her Critter Costume Party 4x8 stamp set and my new Slimline Shadow Box die set. The cute little animals were all colored with copics. I set the scene with some grass "bridges" and a fence from my Every Day Slimline Borders die set. I added some Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink to the bottom of the grass to add dimension and interest. The background sky on the back of the card was blended with Carved Pumpkin and Black Soot. The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp set called Handletered Halloween

What's extra special about this card is that it's also a shaker! Can you see all those cute stars floating across the card? Upon first glance, it looks magical since it's a completely clear shaker window. I created it by gluing acetate behind the shadow box window. Then, I added a single layer of foam tape on top of the acetate all the way around the window. (the frame cut in the box allows me to hide the tape!). I went with one layer of foam because I wanted some of the stars to stay stuck on the acetate instead of falling completely to the bottom. Once the foam tape was added, I sprinkled in some little silver and black star confetti pieces and closed it off with another sheet of acetate. Viola! You have yourself a clear shaker window.
