Hello Sunshine

Hello Sunshine

Hello crafty friends! I'm back today to share with you this Summer card I made mixing some goodies from the latest release by Scrappy Tails Crafts.

I started cutting a 5.5"x4.25" panel from white Distress Heavy stock paper. On it, I applied Distress Opaque Texture paste through the Scrappy Tails "Aztec" 6x6 stencil.

Once dried, I sprayed the panel with prized ribbon and kitsch flamingo Distress Spray Stain. I also darkened the edges with walnut stain Distress Oxide ink.

Next, I splattered the panel with clean water and white, gold and antique bronze Distress paint.

Next, I die cut all the pieces I needed to build up my flowers from the "Layered Hibiscus" die set, I colored them with yellow and orange Distress Oxide inks and with translucent Distress crackle paint.

For the sentiment, I used the "Hello Sunshine" freebie die set, and colored it with ground espresso Distress Paint. I added white die cuts behind it for added dimension.

I arranged my two hibiscus' at the bottom left corner, and that finished off my card!

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you like the card.

I wish you all an amazing day.

Big hugs, Silvia.
