Hexagon and Daisy Card
Hi everyone!
Ilina here, hope you are having a Happy Friday.
Today I am sharing a super fun and bright card using the Oopsy Daisy 6x6 stamp set and the coordinating dies from the March release.
To make this card, start by stamping a daisy image three times as well as three of the bees on white alcohol friendly card stock. You will also want to make sure you stamp with alcohol friendly black ink. (I will be using alcohol markers to color the images, but you can use any color medium of your choice. If you want to use watercolors stamp on your choice of watercolor paper and use waterproof ink)
Cut each image into a hexagon that is equal in size and color using alcohol-based markers. Color the bees and die cut them. Add shimmer pen on the wings. Set aside.
Stamp your sentiment using Versamark ink onto Paradise colored card stock and emboss using white embossing powder. Cut it into a hexagon that is the same size as the image hexagons.
Now it’s time to start assembling the card. Cut a panel from yellow card stock measuring 4” x 5 ¼” ( I have pre die cut my panel using a background piercing die to add a little bit more interest. Alternatively, you can use an embossing folder, or nothing at all).
Using foam tape, arrange the hexagons on your yellow panel. Then, adhere the bees. Finally, add a few white pearls for some added interest.
Using craft foam adhere the panel to a top folding white note card.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
