Hello friends! I’m curious, what time do you wake up in the morning? The rule of the land in my house is “Do not call me until noon!” I don’t have this rule because I get up that late, but because that’s when I reach peak caffeine levels. Lol. I often tell me husband, “I love your more than coffee,” because he is allowed to talk to me at any caffeine level. When I saw the new Hug in a Mug release from Scrappy Tails Crafts, I knew I had to make a coffee themed Valentine for my hubs!

I started my card by die cutting the A7 Lace Heart Cover plate and adhering it to a 5 x7 inch black card panel.

Once the die cut frame was centered, I heat embossed two sayings using the Coffee Sentiments 6x8 stamp set in fine detail white embossing powder.

I then got to work with the two darling caffeinated drinks from the Coffee Love 6x8 stamp set, which I stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with Copics.

I stamped two small sentiments from the Sweet Bear 4x6 stamp set onto the drinks.

Finally, I arranged some stitched die cut hearts behind my coffee drinks to create a little collage. As a finishing touch, I added a few sequins for even more shine!
