Ink Blended Reindeer Card Set

Hello crafters!  Joy here today with four easy to create Christmas cards featuring the Large Elegant Deer die and Distress Oxide inked backgrounds. The deer die is available for purchase. However, you can receive it FREE with any purchase over $150. Once they sell out, they will not be restocked!
I don't know about you, but every year I start out with the intention of creating Christmas cards all year long, but fall short in February.  For me, I get sidetracked because by February, I'm dreaming of sunshine, but I have the solution for you!  Try mass producing backgrounds with your favorite medium, and add elegant die cuts for beautiful, but easy to create cards!
As mentioned, I used Distress Oxides for all of the backgrounds because they are a dream to blend with and happen to be my favorite medium. I opted to go with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar for one, Seedless Preserves and Shaded Lilac for one, Evergreen Bough and Cracked Pistachio for one, and Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass for my final background. I used an Ink blending tool to get the perfect blend across all of the backgrounds.
Once I was happy with the blends, I then splattered them with white acrylic paint and laid them aside to dry. I then got busy die cutting the Large Elegant Deer die which I cut from heavy weight white card stock.
Next, I stamped the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the Christmas Icons stamp set directly onto the card base. I lined the sentiment up inside my Misti so I can stamp all of the sentiments in the same spot at once.
I then trimmed my backgrounds down to 3.5 x 4.75" before adhering them to their white card bases. My last steps were adding the Large Elegant Deer and a few gems to complete the card!
I hope that you have enjoyed these cards and will give them a try! For more inspiration please join us on the Scrappy Tails Crafts Facebook page! You will find stunning projects on the Scrappy Tails blogYoutube, and on Instagram!
Bye for now!!!
