Ink Blending die cuts
Hello my dear friends and welcome back to my crafty space! I'd like to share with you a Christmas card I made with a single die set from the new release by Scrappy Tails Crafts.
I started by cutting a panel from white card stock. Then, I ink blended it with tumbled glass, broken china, faded jeans and chipped sapphire Distress Oxide inks. I splattered the panel with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paint.
I also added some texture to the panel by spreading some snowfall Distress paste through the snowfall layered stencil from the new "Christmas Party" stencil set.
I then cut all the pieces from the beautiful "Layering Christmas Bug" die set and I ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks. I used kitsch flamingo and lumberjack plaid for the car and mowed lawn and rustic wilderness for the trees. I cut some extra trees for the background!
To give a snowy effect to my scene, I added some white Distress grit paste on the car and trees.
I die cut some snowy hills with a die from my stash and I glued my scene together.
For the sentiment, I used an oldie but always a goodie die set called "Winter Essentials", As a finishing touch, I added some sequins from the "Holly Jolly Christmas" mix and that's all.
Thanks so much for passing by today.
I wish you an amazing day! Big hugs,
-Silvia.
