Magical Glitz Gel Card
As part of their new release, Scrappy Tails has added stencils to their line up and I'm just giddy about it!
I used the stand alone layer from the Starry Night stencil set. Of course, it needs to sparkle so I used two different colors of Glitter Glitz Gel, Lovely Lavender and Wild Lilac.
I didn't cover the whole panel. I tried to make it an oval-ish shape. I set the panel aside to dry.
I stamped and silver heat embossed the word "Magical" from the Fairy Sentiments 6x6 stamp set with Versamark ink.
Next, I cut out the word with the matching die from the Fairy Sentiments coordinating die set. This die set includes a cut out for the actual word, and a shadow layer. I cut the shadow layer out of a patterned vellum I had in my stash. I took the V09 Copic marker and colored the backside of the vellum.
I glued the "magical" word on top of the vellum and added a bunch of foam tape on the backside to pop it up
Now we're ready to build a card! I cut a piece of metallic purple cardstock to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and glued it to a top fold, A2, white card base. Then I added the glitter panel and finally, the sentiment.
To complete the card, I stamped "You are" from the Fairy Sentiment set using Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink. I sprinkled it with clear embossing powder, melted it, cut it down, and added it to the card.
You've gotta check out the new release!
Happy crafting!
