Mix and Match Pop up Add-on die sets

Hiya!  I don't know about you, but sometimes I get struck by inspiration when I'm not even looking. I have watched the movie Encanto at least three times lately, it just makes me happy.
One night, I couldn't sleep and my brain had an ah ha moment! I thought, wouldn't it be perfect to create a colorful Encanto house out of my card making supplies?! Once the idea struck, I set about translating the inspiration simmering in my brain into reality.
I was able to use elements from several different Scrappy Tails Crafts dies to bring this creation to life.  The most important set to start with is the Slimline Flower Stand Pop Up set. I used this set to create support beams for my house. These beams also add dimension between my colored tiers.
Once I knew the height, I went ahead and cut the coordinating panels. Here's a look at all of my die cuts!

I added stencil detail to the three main panels.  I cut two pieces of scrap card stock to use as stencils.  One was cut with the Slimline Brick Background die and one from the Slimline Cobblestone die.  I used the cobblestone stencil on the back and front panel.  For the middle pink panel, I used the brick stencil.
I used the window dies from the Slimline Fairy House add- on die set. I cut the window shadow layers from an older Doodlebug paper pad called Simply Spring. Then, I glued the window pieces on top. I matched the windows with the background color for each colored tier.

Let's start building! I used liquid glue to adhere my first set of posts to the yellow back/roof panel.

Then, I glued the blue panel on top.  I also added a roof and topper using more dies from the Fairy House add on die set.
I repeated the same steps for the pink panel. I die cut and paper pieced the windows, Attached the side posts, and glued the base panel paper.
For the front panel, I die cut an orange door from the same Fairy House add-on.  I added pattern paper behind the door for a pop of color. I also added a kitty and butterfly from the Garden Stand Animals die set behind the door for a cute surprise.
Before adhering my door, I cut a white fence using the fence die from the Garden Stand Flowers die set.  I glued it to the bottom of the green panel. Beside the door, I added green vines from the Garden Gate die set.  I cut several colors of flowers from the same die set and glued them on to the vine.
As a finishing touch, I added a vine to the middle panel and some flowers.  I used Crystal Stickles to the butterfly, the flower centers, and along the roof petals.
The combination of the pattern paper and bright colors really brought my Encanto house vision to life, I love how it turned out!
Here's how the card looks from the bottom, there's so much dimension!
Here's a side profile
And there you have it!  One Encanto inspired slimline pop up card!
Thank you so much for visiting.  Hope to see you again real soon!
