Nuvo Color Burst Easter Egg Cards
Hello Friends, Waleska here to share with you some card ideas... My projects, today are all about Easter, is it too early do you think?
For my cards, I used some new fun dies from the latest Spring Fling Release. You can find the "Spring Time Essentials" dies that I used for my projects today and many other beautiful products at the Scrappy Tails Shop!
CARD DETAILS:
I started by die cutting the eggs from the Spring Time Essentials Metal Dies from white cardstock. To color the eggs, I used Nuvo Shimmer Powders in colors: Solar Flare, Violet Brocade and Atlantis Burst, super pretty pastels! I sprinkled the various powders on the eggs and sprayed them some water, a little goes a long way with these powders! The eggs look so fun with these colors mixed together.
I then added some of the same color Nuvo powders to a white card base. I sprayed the powders with water. I decided to use this piece to create two cards.
To get two cards from one panel, I die cut a stitched rectangle from the center of the panel, leaving me with a colorful rectangle panel and this colorful frame.
I backed each of my colored eggs with white card stock. The die set includes the shadow layer, which is great! I then added the colored eggs to the cards, I used foam tape to raise them, and finally, I added the sentiment with gold cardstock along with some sequins for some more embellishment.
I love how these two cards turned out and the soft colors give this card a total Easter feel.
