Hello Friends! I hope your day is going great! Today, I wanted to share a very colorful Christmas card... What is more adorable than two cute penguins on a Holiday card!? PROJECT DETAILS:
To start this card, I die cut two penguins from the Layering Penguin Duo die set. These penguins are super easy to assemble and are so so cute! I used black, white, orange and blue card stock for the big pieces and for the small detail pieces I used white card stock and colored them with various copic marker colors.
I then cut a piece of 5 x 7 white card stock to create the background scene. I used Distress Oxide inks in colors: Tumbled Glass and Kitsch Flamingo. I also added some flicked splashes of water and sparkly watercolors.
I then cut the A7 Festive Garland Cover Plate from green card stock and adhered it to the background panel.I finally adhered the penguins to the center and used white acrylic paint mixed with water to create the snow on the card. I added a sentiment from the Christmas Icon Stamp Set and some snowflakes to enhance the scene! I hope this inspires you to create some Christmas cards! Have a wonderful day!
