Rainbow Heat Embossed Butterflies
Today, I am excited to be the guest designing for Scrappy Tails! Their recent release included these stunning butterfly stamps, so I went all rainbow with them (well, almost a rainbow - no green today!)
On this card, I white heat embossed the butterflies from the "Spread Your Wings" 6x8 stamp set onto vellum. I coloured the back side of the vellum with Copic markers to match the ink blending I did on the card base underneath.
My second design showcases the same vellum technique using the large butterfly from the "Heartfelt Wings" 6x8 stamp set. It's very hard to see on camera, but if you look closely, you can see that the coloring from the markers on the butterfly is slightly bolder than the background. It's very subtle, but I love how it looks!
