Seaside Scrapbook Layout
Hello crafty friends!
I'm here today to share with you a 6"x8" layout I made mixing together some die sets from the latest "Set Sail" release by Scrappy Tails Crafts.
I started by die cutting a 6"x8" panel from white card stock. On it, I ink smooshed Uncharted Mariner Distress Spray Stain. I the darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink, and I splattered the panel with picket fence, antique bronze, speckled egg and prize ribbon Distress paints.
I then die cut several pieces to create my seaside scene from the "Beach Essentials" die set and the scroll shape from the "A7 Compass Scroll" die set. I ink blended them with coordinating Distress Oxide inks and splattered them with the same tone on tone inks.
I printed a photo from my last trip to 5 Terre with my Canon Selphy printer and then started to build my layout with my various diecuts.
As a finishing touch, I added some red and pink starfishes that I die cut with a die from the "Layering Pelicans" die set.
