Shabby Chic Still Life Vignette Card
Happy Sunday my creative friends! Today I am sharing my first ever creation for Scrappy Tails Crafts! I have always loved a good pun...and tulips are one of my all time favorite flowers. So combining the two in a stamp set? Swooooon! I am so there. I had a lot of fun stamping and diecutting to create this sweet card. Make sure to scroll down to find links to all stamp supplies used from on this card!
A combination of stamps from the Timeless Tulips and Sweet bear sets were used to create a card uniquely mine. That is one of my favorite things about using stamps and diecuts. It is so easy to come up with your own individual look every time. I used Spectrum Noir markers to color my images. Wanting to keep things simple, (this is a simple card for me, lol) I decided to use a classic black and white color combo with pops of red.
The little teacup really spoke to my whimsical loving heart so I came up with a fun "still life vignette" ...imagining a couple of love notes tucked into some vintage old china. The little postcards are actually from a Christmas stamp set called "Cardinal Blessings". I love to think outside the box and use things in a different way. It's a great way to extend those craft supplies!
To finish this card off, I embellished with various different die cuts, buttons and ribbon, which I glued onto some black and white plaid pattern paper.
Well that is it for me this Sunday! Hope you enjoyed! Stay safe, healthy, and creative!
XOXO, Cherry
