Silver Metallic Christmas Card

Hey Y'all!!!  Merry Christmas!  EARLY! Join me today to create a gorgeous A7 card design. Along the way we will check out some of the beautiful new die sets from the latest Scrappy Tails Crafts Christmas Collection. My card features a beautiful garland coverplate, poinsettias and a fun die cut sentiment.  This beautiful card is available in my Etsy store HERE!  All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).

I just LOVE Christmas. Christmas in August?  Even better!!

I started with Stampin' UP's 'Red Foil' paper which is so festive for Christmas cards.  The background is a retired paper pack from Stampin' UP! called 'Mercury Glass Acetate'.  The silver is no longer available but they have introduced a new beautiful Mercury Glass in Highland Heather & Rococo Rose colors.  You can find it HERESilver mirror cardstock would work just as well for this!

The beautiful poinsettias are cut from Stampin' UP's 'Red Foil' and 'Silver Foil' sheets.  They were die cut with the Scrappy Tails Crafts 'Outlined Poinsettia' Metal Craft Dies.  The background of the leaves was cut from Stampin' UP's 'Vellum' card stock with a 'Silver Foil' sheet outline.

The beautiful silver foil frame around my card was die cut with the Scrappy Tails Crafts "A7 Garland Cover plate" die set. This set includes some beautiful ornaments too! I added my layered poinsettias and leaves to the center of the frame. Then, I added a sentiment strip going across the bottom of my card in a diagonal. Above the strip, I glued a Merry Christmas sentiment. This comes in the "Merry Christmas Ornament" die set. Finally, I added some red Stickles around my sentiment.

Merry Christmas Y'all!!!
