Spring Bird Card

Spring Bird Card

Hello crafty friends! I'd like to share with you a beautiful Spring card I made today using some new products by Scrappy Tails Crafts!
I started by cutting a panel down to 4.5"x5.75" from white card stock. I colored it with cracked pistachio Distress Spray Stain. I also added a soft texture on it  using the beautiful "Aztec" stencil and cracked pistachio Distress ink. As a final touch, I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink.

I then die cut all the pieces I needed for my card from the "A7 Bird House Pop Up Card" and the "Layering Spring Birds" die sets. I made some daisy flowers using the small circle and scalloped circle included in the bird house set!

I colored my various die cut pieces with Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Ground Espresso, Saltwater Taffy, Lumberjack Plaid, Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness distress oxide inks.

I splattered my die cut pieces with clean water, additional inks, as well as picket fence and antique bronze Distress paints to create a Vintage artsy look.

I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape. I stamped a sentiment from the new "Birds and Blooms" stamp set with ground espresso Distress archival ink.

As a final touch, I added some embellishments from the new "Spring Flower Breeze" mix.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

I wish you an amazing day, sending big hugs!
-Silvia.
