Spring Birthday Card- with birds!

Happy Friday, crafty friends!! I have a Spring birthday card to share with you today for Scrappy Tails Crafts!! I combined two different bird die-cut sets from Scrappy Tails…the cherry blossom branch is from the Layering Blue Jay Die Set and the birds are from the Layering Spring Birds Dies.

I die-cut all of the bird, branch and flower layers from white card stock. To color them, I blended Distress Oxide Inks. For the branches, I used a combination of Antique Linen and Vintage Photo; the leaves were blended with Shabby Shutters and Rustic Wilderness, and the flowers were inked with Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry. I used Vintage Photo, Antique Linen, Rusty Hinge, Dried Marigold, Tea Dye, Blueprint Sketch, Tumbled Glass and Hickory Smoke for the birds.
I added some dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen and drew in some thin lines with a black Copic multi-liner for extra detail. All of the layers were adhered together with liquid glue.
The white background panel was inked with a cloud stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink, then the die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue. The sentiment, comes from the Birds and Blooms Stamp Set, was stamped with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink, and cut out with its Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I appreciate your time!!
