Stiletto Shaped Card
Hello, crafty friends!! I hope your week is going well!!
Shaped cards are so fun, don’t you think? They're just a little something different to make your cards more memorable and unique!! I have a stiletto shaped card to share with you for Scrappy Tails Crafts today!! Great for that fabulous friend or even for Galentine’s Day!! I have the perfect person to send this to for her upcoming birthday, so I made mine into a birthday card!!
How fun is this!?! I began by die-cutting the bottom layer of the shoe from black card stock using the A2 High Heel Shoe Die Set. I also used the same die to cut the card base. I cut it from an A2 white side-folding card base, letting the left side of the die hang over the folded edge. The black layer was adhered on top with liquid glue.
Next, I die-cut the floral layer, of the heel from black glitter card stock using the same die set. Those die-cuts were also adhered with liquid glue. The bow die is also included in the set. It was cut from red glitter card stock and adhered to the base of the shoe. I added a trio of clear gems to the middle of the bow to finish off the front of the card.
For the inside, I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Designer Friend Sentiment Set onto white card stock with red ink and used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. It was adhered to the inside with liquid glue and this fabulous card was finished!! I still have plenty of room to write a personal message inside!!
