Trick or Treat Skeleton
Hello again, friends!! Halloween is quickly approaching and I have a creepy, spooky card to share featuring goodies from the latest Classic Horror Collection from Scrappy Tails Crafts!! I usually create cute Halloween cards, but this collection is so fantastic…I couldn’t resist going over to the dark side…lol!!
I started by die-cutting the coffin, window, hand, candlesticks and bats from black, dark gray, cream, white, red and metallic gold cardstock using the Dracula’s Lair Die Set. The skeleton is from the Dancing Skeletons Die Set. I die-cut it three times from heavyweight white cardstock, then stacked and adhered them together for dimension.
The background was created by embossing an A2 panel of light gray cardstock with a 3D spider web embossing folder. I blended around the outside of the panel with black dye ink, making the bottom of the panel darker. The panel was trimmed slightly and adhered to a white A2 card base. The die-cuts were all adhered with liquid glue.
The die-cut sentiment is also from the Dracula’s Lair Die Set. It was die-cut three times from heavyweight white card stock and once from black card stock. They were stacked and adhered together with the black layer slightly offset. It was adhered to the window with liquid adhesive. I added the red bat’s eyes by using a white gel pen first, then coloring them with a Copic marker. They really look like they’re glowing!!
I really love how this turned out!! I hope you do, as well!! Be sure to stop by the Scrappy Tails Shop to check out the rest of the Classic Horror Release!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a good one!!

Got three of the new Halloween release sets during the Labor Day sale. Had to come back today and get three more after watching your Dancing Witches Popup video. You are SO inventive!
