Using An Entire Stamp Set on a Card

I love using new products with previous pop up die sets. Today, I combined our "A7 Pop up Shadow Box Book" die set with some new stamps and dies from our latest "Tropical Bliss" collection!

I ended up using every single image from the new "Tropical Birds" 6x8 stamp set to decorate this book. I love when I feel like I'm maximizing the use out of my supplies, so this made me really happy! Now, let's take a look at the inside of this book card!

I created this Tropical shadow box book card for an inspiration hop we have going on over on Instagram! Hop along with the Scrappy Tails design team for tons of Summer project ideas.

For an in depth tutorial on how to assemble our "A7 Shadow Box Book" die set, check out my video tutorial HERE.

After assembling the book, I decorated the front cover with our new "A7 Aloha Leaf Cover Plate" die set. I cut the leaf frame from two shades of green card stock. I fussy cut a few darker green leaves and glued them on top of the lighter green frame. To add a pop of white, I added some white plumerias with yellow pearl centers from the same die set.

In the center of the frame, I added a cockatoo image from the "Tropical Birds" stamp set. Beside the bird, I added a stamped sentiment. I used the coordinating dies to cut all of my stamped images

The inside of my book is so bright and colorful, I love how it turned out! I covered the front cover page, the spine and the back of the shadow box with some pattern papers from our new "Tropical Bliss" 12x12 pattern paper pad.

The inside cover page was decorated simply with a gold frame that's included in the "A7 Shadow Box Book" die set. On the bottom left and top right of the frame, I created two flower clusters. I also glued a few smaller plumeria die cuts with the clusters.

Our new pattern paper is glossy, so be careful writing a message on it. Be sure it's totally dry before closing the card. You can add a white die cut inside the frame to avoid any smudging!

On top of the shadow box frame, I glued my second Tropical Leaf cover plate. Inside it, I added my remaining stamped images. Each bird has a different level of dimension, which creates a lot of nice interest on the card!

That finishes off my pop up card today! Thank you so much for stopping by.
