Whimsical Layering Daisy Card
Hello Friends Waleska here to share a very colorful card celebrating the first day of spring today! For this card, I used the beautiful Whimsical Layering Daisies, I hope you like my card as much as I do!
CARD DETAILS:
To start this card, I die cut many of the Whimsical Daisies, this set comes with 11 different daisies in all kinds of sizes. For my card today, I used the two larger sized open daisies. I also die cut the stems from white cardstock. I then chose Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Ink to color in these beautiful flowers. My inspiration came from a post of one of my dear Crafty Friends Dani, from Love Dani Studio.
Aren't this flowers just beautiful!!! To color them, I used an eyeshadow make up applicator to add the ink onto the flowers starting in the middle and shading all of the flower petals, letting the ink fade off into white.
I then glue two of the daisies on top of each other for a layered dimensional look. I colored the flower centers with Y13 and glued them onto the flowers. I added Chunky glitter to the centers for some shine. I colored the stems with some teal colored markers and adhered the stems to the flowers. Finally, I added each flower onto a panel that I ink blended with Speckled Egg Oxide ink.
I finally added a sentiment from the Scrappy Tails "Popping Poppies" 6x6 stamp set and some sequins for even more sparkle! I hope you like my card today and are inspired by it! have a great weekend remember to stay safe and stay crafty.
