Our new A7 sized die (best to be used as a focal point on an 5 x 7 inch card panel size) is called “A7 Birthday Book Coverplate” Metal Craft Die, which creates a very pretty centerpiece on any A7 sized card. The plate is designed as a coverplate specifically for our “A7 Book pop up card”, which was released in 2022. The coverplate is slightly smaller than an A7 card and would leave a narrow frame around your card if placed on a 5x7 inch card panel- on our book however, it is stunning and perfectly sized to be used on the outer book cover or as a frame on the shadow box inside the book. You will receive a gorgeous coverplate that has a slight arch on top and beautiful leafy scrolls all the way around the frame. You will also receive a nesting die that cuts into your background die in order to create a frame. You also receive another nested die that has the same arched shape with an added stitched line detail, which can also be cut out of the frame or layered on top of your coverplate to house your message or sentiment. Speaking of sentiments, this gorgeous die has a beautiful sentiment, which reads “Hope your birthday is one for the books”. The sentiment is written using beautiful lettering/ a gorgeous font and it can be used with or without the main die. There are also two detailed and pretty butterflies included in this set. Of course the set can be paper pieced and paper layered for beautiful dimension using all your favorite colors of papers, card stocks and of course specialty glitter and foiled papers and designer pattern papers.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
