Hello Friends, Waleska here! I am very excited to share with you the project I created with some new Scrappy Tails products from the Flower Shop Collection.  With this collection, you can make the most beautiful 3D storefront cards, full of amazing details (and yes, they do fold flat for mailing!). Today I created a Flower shop, let me share with you how I made it.

The dies I used to construct the base of my flower shop are from the "A7 Storefront Pop up" die set. This set includes all of the base pieces, the roof and several window/door options to decorate your store.

I started by die cutting the shop base with gray card stock. To add interest, I used the Slimline Cobblestone die as a stencil to create the stone texture for the shop with Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Ink.

I then cut the roof with kraft card stock and inked it with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink. I cut the scalloped roof trim from white card stock and glued it to the bottom of the roof. I think it added a nice detail. As a finishing touch, I added a "Flowers" sign to the roof.

I used the "Flower Shop Add-on" die set to cut the rest of my decorative elements. I cut everything from white card stock including the 'flowers' word die, the pots, flowers, plants, bicycle and cactus. By die cutting everything from white, I was able to color everything with Copic Markers. 

Using dies from the "Neighborhood House Add-on", I die cut a rounded rectangle window to create the door of my flower shop. I also die cut a white fence from the "Garden Stand Flowers" die set to add to the back of my card.

 

 

 

Now that everything was die cut, I started to decorate my flower shop with all of my die cut elements. I wanted lots of flowers and two big windows with the word "flowers."  Most of the die cuts I glued flat with liquid glue. I adhered a few of them with 3D foam tape for more dimension.

Voila! Just like that, you have a 3D Flower Shop, you can also create a house, a coffee shop, a pet shop, whatever you like! You can personalize all kinds of projects with this amazing pop up storefront die.
