Floral Thank You Card

Floral Thank You Card

Hi everyone!
I am back today and have a fun floral Thank You card to share with you using few of the new release die sets from Scrappy Tails Crafts!
For my scene with the boots and picket fence, I combined the Garden Stand, Flowers and the Potted Flowers die sets. I die cut each of the elements except the flowers twice and stacked them up to create more sturdy elements. Next, I added the flowers on top. I used two different shades of green for the leaves/stems and a shimmery silver card stock for the flowerpots.
I did the same with the boots. I adhered two of the base layers together using darker teal card stock and one layer with the polka dots using lighter teal card stock. For the detail pieces on the boots, I used a yellow and black shiny matte card stock. I think this made them look like rubber boots!
The flowers were die cut from yellow and purple card stock. I appreciate that the flowers are a separate die, so it makes it easy to paper piece them onto their coordinating stems/leaves. For some subtle shimmer, I went over the flowers with a clear glaze pen.
Once I assembled all of the elements I wanted to use, I cut a piece of navy patterned paper. You can use navy card stock, but I liked the subtle pattern on the background and thought it gave my card more interest.
Then, I arranged and adhered the elements onto the patterned paper panel. I wanted to ground my potted flowers and boots, so I added a white picket fence from the new Garden Stand Flowers die set.
The last thing this card needed was a sentiment. Using the A7 Flower Cover Plate die set, I cut the Thank You sentiment 3 times from white card stock. I stacked them together and added shimmer pen to the top layer for a little more interest. Then, I adhered the sentiment to the top of the panel.
Finally, I adhered the entire panel to a top folding white note card using a stack of 3 pieces of heavy weight card stock for added dimension and sturdiness. To finish it off, I added green pearls to the centers of the yellow flowers.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!

I just love how the light colors pop with the dark background! Perfectly delightful!
