Haunted Barn Pop up Card
We always go to haunted houses/barns during the Halloween season, so why not create a 3D haunted barn card!? For my spooky barn, I used the new A7 Pop Up Barn Die set from Scrappy Tails Crafts as well as a few other dies from the same "Harvest Blessings" collection!
When I make a card that is primarily made of die cuts, I start by cutting the larger dies, and then separate each of the smaller dies into dishes so that I can stay organized. I cut some decorative elements for my barn using the "Haunted House Add-on" and the "A7 Pop up Barn" die set.
It’s hard to tell in this photo, but I actually used Argyle patterned scrapbook paper for the walls of the barn. For added stability, I backed each base piece with 100 pound card stock. If you use solid heavy weight card stock, this step isn't necessary. To see how the barn is constructed, please check out Sabrina's video tutorial HERE. After constructing the A7 Barn Pop up, I then decorated it with my die cut elements.
Overall, I tackled this with a monochromatic approach to create a night time scene, but I love how the red BEWARE on the front of the barn door. I’d love to know what you think!
