The Scrappy Tail's Spring Fling Release is Here!

The Scrappy Tails Craft's "Spring Fling" Release is officially available for purchase! Today's video showcases the entire new release including all of the new stamps and dies that my family and I designed ourselves!
We are featuring LOTS of card inspiration of our two new pop up die sets! For today's blog post, I will sharing close ups of each card I shared in the product video showcase. I'll also have a full list of supplies for each individual card. Because my mom and I created so many samples, we will be dividing this blog into two parts! Today, I am sharing half of the cards, and in February I'll share the other half to give you a refresher of inspiration at the halfway point!

Product Video Showcase with Giveaway

I recommend checking out my product video showcase. I'm giving away a $100 prize and I go over each product in detail. It's also a good way to see how the two new 360 pop ups work!

Card One

If you want to learn how to create one of these unique pop up vase cards, I have a video tutorial on my channel that explains it all. All of the vase cards you see in today's blog post were created with the new "Pop Up Vase" die set. What's unique about both of the new pop ups is that they're completely 360, meaning you can actually spin the card and see something new at every angle, cool right?!
It's such a unique die set and it's a year round product, which I love. The best part is that it's super easy to put together and it folds completely flat for mailing! You can also combine the vase with the "A7 Mechanism" die set to make your vase POP right out of the envelope!
Inside the vase, I cut the new "Outlined Tulips" from silver foil card stock. Included in the die set are the shadow layers, which I cut from various pink colored card stock. The leaves you see tucked throughout the vase are also from that "Outlined Tulips" die set! The "Hello" word die comes from the "Slimline Shadow Box" die set. I love how girly this card is!

Card Two

Card two features the new "Pop up Basket" die set. Like the vase, it too is a complete 360 pop up design. The basket is a bit wider and shorter than the vase, but it also fits inside an A7 envelope. The basket handle can be taller, if you choose to hand deliver or use it as a gift box! Again, this is a great year round product, but I must say, it's especially cute for Spring and Easter!

I love the bright blue and yellow colors on this card! I cut the actual card base from heavy weight white card stock and decorated the bottom with dark blue pattern paper. Included in the "Pop up Basket" die set, are two solid rectangles that you can cut from pattern paper to decorate the basket. There's also two basket weave dies, which really make your pop up look like a real basket! Inside the basket, are some more outlined tulips. I die cut the outline layers from dark yellow and the shadow layers from light yellow. I sprinkled in some die cut greenery and baby's breath from the new "Assorted Leaves" die set. The butterflies on the card are from the new "Spring Time Essentials" die set.

Card Three

Here's a cute Valentine card design. My mom, Kirsten, decorated the vase with some pattern paper that she cut from the solid rectangle panels in the "Pop Up Vase" die set. The roses inside the vase are from the new "Outlined Roses" die set. She cut the outlines from white cardstock and layered them onto their shadow layers, which she cut from light pink and coral cardstock.

Scattered throughout the vase are some branchy leaves, which were die cut using the "Assorted Leaves" die set. At the top of the vase is a cute teddy bear from the new "Sweet Bear" 4x6 stamp set. The bear was colored with copic markers.

Card Four

This has to be my favorite basket in the collection! I love all of the bright colors, the card gets me so excited for Spring cardmaking! As you can see, the panels on the basket are perfect to add your sentiment on! You can also add the A7 giftcard holder to one of the panels to create a cute gift basket!

Kirsten added various images from the new "Outlined Roses" die set, "Outlined Tulips" die set and a few grasses, wild flowers and butterflies from the new "Spring Time Essentials" die set inside the basket.

Card Five

Here's a great example showcasing the lace panels that are included in the "Pop up Vase" die set. Kirsten cut the lace panels from white cardstock and layered them onto solid red panels.

All of the hearts inside the vase are from the new "Assorted Hearts" die set. In this set, you get a wide variety of layering hearts, scallop and lace hearts, and solid hearts. Also included in the set is a love arrow and some cute pouty lips! Kirsten stamped a couple sentiments from "Sweet Bear" on some of the hearts to make them look like candy hearts! Inside the vase are also two butterflies from the "Spring Time Essentials" die set.

Card Six

Here's an example that really displays the versatility of the "Outlined Roses" die set. Kirsten created a beautiful wedding card by die cutting the outlines of the roses from black card stock and layering them onto silver, white and grey shadow layers. Peeking through the roses are some silver foil baby's breath, which was cut from a die in the "Assorted Leaves" die set.

Card Seven

This vase features stamped images from the new "Rose Petals" 6x6 stamp set. I was inspired by the pattern paper on the vase for the coloring of my roses. I fussy cut the florals to limit the amount of white inside the vase, but you can definitely use the coordinating dies to save time!

Peeking through the roses are some branchy leaves from the "Assorted Leaves" die set. I think the black card base really makes the colors in this vase POP!

Card Eight

Keep a look out for a card tutorial on my Youtube channel for this basket design. Purple isn't normally a go to color for me, but this turned out so cute! This basket showcases the decorative lattice panel die included in the "Pop up Basket" die set. Using the solid panel from the die set, I layered purple glitter panels behind the lattice panels to create a cool two colored basket!

The inside of this basket includes hearts from "Assorted Hearts" and images from "Sweet Bear."

Card Nine

I wanted to share one Easter design with you all, as this release did combine Easter and Valentine's Day. For today's blog post, I focused mostly on Valentine's Day just because that holiday is coming sooner. However, I will have an additional "Spring Fling" inspiration blog post coming the first week of February with even more Easter designs!

The inside of this card features the "Outlined Roses" die set and the new "Easter Blessings" 4x6 stamp set and coordinating dies. I colored the crosses with my copic markers. The leaves inside the vase are from the new "Assorted Leaves" Die set.
