Product Description:

This die set is designed with our original A7 Trifold Pop Up Base Die in mind, which was released back in October 2024. If you already own that die, this is a beautiful addition to continue your trifold collection with Scrappy Tails. This trifold introduces you to an elegant pointy trifold card shape. This set is very large and comes delivered to you in two die sheets. It is a full 5x7 sized backer, it also comes with the matching elegant pointy trifold pull down to provide you with a new pull down design, which was a very frequent customer request.) 

The side wings are tall rectangles with the same pointy top design that each only measure 2.5 inches in width, but are the full 7 inches high. This is very elegant and makes for a bold statement card front. This trifold closes 1/2 way in the front - like a gatefold card. The right winged rectangle meets the left wing rectangle and together they are the full 5 inches wide. Please note : This is not just for weddings and not just for invitations - there are so many beautiful uses for this trifold add-on beyond wedding.

This card includes an amazingly ornate die for your side wings, of course also matching the pointy top design. Those side wings have a larger whimsical leave motive that cuts away a good amount of paper and provides a glimpse into the inside of the card unless you close the wings off with the matching shadow wing. Consider to use a beautiful velum or Acetate to back your open side wings, which will make those side wings transparent.

This is more of a whimsical design and the motive is larger and less lacey than some of our other new sets. This would definitely lend itself very well as a card for all occasions and all seasons.

Also included in this set is the heavily requested belly band. We heard our customers, you wanted a way to close your trifolds without the need for magnets. We created a belly band that matches all of our trifolds and has the same gusset fold/score lines to provide for that extra thickness of the card? while still keeping the card securely closed, and while also providing you with some additional “card real estate” for a beautifully placed sentiment.

Another major request that we have received was for some new custom length bridges/connectors for the fold down. Those new connectors are also included in this die set here. 

We also offer the Wedding Trifold Add-On and the Elegant Garden Gate Trifold Add-On die sets (which are both sold separately), but they are both perfect companion dies to this set here.

This Metal Craft Die can be combined with any other products/ images from our latest English Garden Wedding collections, which released in July 2025.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
