This die set is designed with our original A7 Trifold Pop Up Base Die in mind, which was released back in October 2024. If you already own that die, this is a beautiful addition to continue your trifold collection with Scrappy Tails. 

This “Elegant Garden Gate Trifold Add-On” die set provides you with a left and right wing. It is a gorgeous, incredibly detailed and ornate garden gate that can be added to a rectangular shaped backer card that measures 5x7 inches. The Garden Gate matches beautifully with the “Wedding Trifold Add- On”, (which is sold separately). The side wings are tall have a pretty scalloped design at the top of the rectangle and only measure 2.5 inches in width, but are the full 7 inches high. This is incredibly elegant, because this trifold closes 1/2 way in the front - like a gatefold card. The right winged rectangle meets the left wing rectangle and together they are the full 5 inches wide.

Please note : This is not just for weddings and not just for invitations - there are so many beautiful uses for this garden gate trifold add-on beyond wedding. I can see this gate beautifully dressed up in snow and ice for the holidays or it could be used for your haunted house/ Halloween party invites just by “spooking up” the gate with some ghosts, spiders and bats and by using halloween colors and some knarly trees.

This card includes an amazingly ornate die for your side wings. The ornate gate does come with the matching solid backer die, so you can easily and cleanly close the gate out. Consider to use a beautiful velum or Acetate to back your gate side wings, which will make those side wings more transparent and provide a sneak peak into the inside center of your trifold.

These lacey gatefold designs are every brides dream invitations right now. They are elegant wings, but they are still simplistic enough that you can add a photo of the couple or even the printed wedding day logistics on the center backer-card.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
