Our new “Japanese Cherry Blossom Branch Add-On” Metal Craft Die Set will be a great accompaniment to your new favorite tunnel in the Scrappy Tails Tunnel card collection the Japanese Cherry Blossom Square Tunnel Pop Up Card. With this new Cherry Blossom Branch square design, you will be able to decorate the new 5 inch square tunnel (sold separately)

It includes everything you need to further enhance the Japanese Cherry Blossom Tunnel by giving you a beautiful double tree branch attached to the top left hand corner of the square, that you can insert into the second or third row of your tunnel. The branch is meticulously decorated so that the blooms will offset and fill in open spots of the front cover plate beautifully and give you a really full interior of your tunnel. Of course the flowers are a perfect match. You also get a small corner spray on the opposite corner of the frame. And then you get all of the layering pieces to create the dimension and detail that bring these flowers to their lifelike state and give them such beautiful character. All of these details will help you create a complete tunnel card and give you everything you need to decorate it with the most beautiful Japanese Cherry Blossoms and make your cards even fuller than with the tunnel flowers alone. This die set coordinates beautifully with the other Japanese Cherry blossom die sets and allows you to mix and match the different square die sets to create the most amazing Japanese outside spring scenes of course embellished with the most gorgeous blooms.

The florals come in multiple layers that we recommend that you cut out in three different colors. You can also back layer these flowers or even layer the pieces that fall out in the die cutting process back in (possibly in a different, but complimentary shade of the same color or within the same color spectrum) for even more detail and dimension. The details are insanely beautiful and you will need to bring out your favorite tweezers for all the little bloom details and the tiny little included leaves as well. The little touches of green, will lend your card even more eye candy and the added work to add the little leaves here and there are absolutely worth it. Of course you can make these blooms any bloom of your choice, you don’t have to stick just with cherry blossom colors, imagine bringing out your favorite greens and yellows for lemon & orange blossoms or deep pinks for almond tree blooms etc. Also consider to cut the flowers apart, only use parts of the branch or turn the branch the other way to create even more ways to fill your tunnel and keep your eyes guessing as to how many blooms maybe included in your master piece. Of course this beautiful branch can be used on flat card projects or as a frame around your favorite photo on a scrapbook layout.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
