Product Description:

This “Pick your Poison” Metal Craft Die set coordinates with the “A7 Spellbook Cover Plate” metal craft die set to give you additional images to decorate your cards or A7 Pop up book shadow boxes. We are trying to make it easier for our customers to use their pop up books by providing enough additional images to go beyond a fabulous book/ card front panel and to take the design into the inside of your cards and books. Of course this set can also be used completely standalone as well.

Included in the “Pick Your Poison” Metal Craft Die set, is a good sized sentiment that reads “Pick your Poison” - it is in a pretty scripty font and comes with its own shadow layers. It is a nice sized word set that looks very pretty on the cover plate’s center tag or as a sentiment on the inside of your card/book, too. Also included is a small sized witch’s shelf with three hanging hooks. On the hooks the witch is drying the ingredients for her next fabulous brew. Included is a moth/butterfly type insect on a hook, a piece of drying meat on a hook and a spider on a hook. There is also just a plain second shelf. For that shelf, we included a small layering crystal ball - complete with a cool eye in the middle, along with a small potion/ elixir bottle that even has a little layer to glue onto the front, a set of books, a witch’s hat and a small bat. These shelves and the images that no on the shelf are very small, but they are delicate and deinty and while they are little, they are drawing the eye towards them. They are the kind of things, one might find on the shelf inside the witch’s domicile.

This set here is a pretty small add-on set as there is also another witch related die set available, that coordinates well with the “A7 Spellbook Cover plate”, which is called the “Witch’s Lair”. It is a very comprehensive witch’s “home” interior decorating set/ witch’s laboratory set, which has so many additional elements that can definitely become part of the interiors of the cards/ books as well. We tried to provide a value added coordinating set with this smaller set here to get you started, but definitely check out the “Witch’s Lair” set as well, if you would love to get even more witch related die images.

The cover plates and the coordinating extra image die sets are also specifically designed to work with Scrappy Tails Crafts best selling and most beloved “A7 Pop Up Book” Metal Craft Die. If you own our A7 Pop up Book, these cover plates and added coordinating extra image dies are a must have addition to your collection. If you are new to our pop up books (which includes a very cool interior shadow box), then we would love to invite you to check out our many tutorials on how to create these amazing pop up book cards. They are amazing, because while they are dimensional, they can also still fold flat for mailing as a unique and extraordinary card!

This set is designed to work best when used in conjunction with any other element of the “Horror Classics” Halloween collection. Please check out our entire “Horror Classics” collection and mix and match your favorite pieces.

Directions for metal craft die use:

  1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
  2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
  3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
  4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
