Be Mine Slimline Card

Hello friends! This is my first card for the Scrappy Tails Blog as an official design team member! I want to say that I am so happy and I hope we'll have fun together! Today, I'm sharing a super sweet and romantic slimline card featuring awesome products from new release.

For this "heart plate" full of cookies, I made a bunch of chocolates from the new Chocolate Truffles die set. I die cut them from tan card stock and backed the solid layers behind them with colorful papers. I die cut their wrappers from white card stock and vellum.

 I had so much fun die cutting all of these cookies, and adding all of the little details using the different toppings. I used a combination of glitter, confetti and sprinkles to adorn each of my cookies. 

I clustered my cookies onto a Scalloped Heart base, which I cut from polka dot embossed vellum. On top of that, I added a pink heart layer to create a fun "heart plate". Next, I adhered the plate onto my black slimline background that I splattered with gold metallic watercolor.

I added a die cut sentiment to the top of my card using the "Be Mine" word dies that come in the Chocolate Heart Gift Box die set. Finally, I decorated my card with some more polymer clay hearts.
