It’s our favorite time of the year - time to make Christmas, Winter & Holiday cards for friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, church members, teachers in short …. All the important people in our lives. It’s also time to capture those beautiful family moments with gorgeous scrapbook page layouts and to decorate our homes for the festive season.

This Metal Craft Die Here is: “Birdhouse- German Characters”. The die set includes the following images:three German characters, one girl, one younger male and one slightly older male with a longer beard. Of course you can make these characters younger or older, depending on the hair color and also the outfits that you’re giving them. They’re all dressed up in Bavarian traditional German attire - so for the guys that means that they’re wearing Lederhosen and for the girl that means she is wearing a traditional Dirndl dress and she also has her hair braided into two little pigtails.  The set includes a very simplistic table and chair set as well as a larger and a smaller beer barrel and a tiny little Dachshund puppy complete with a super mini Santa Hat. All three characters are in a sitting position. Each of the characters is only about an inch and a half tall, but has many layering pieces from the socks, to the shoes to the dress, to the Lederhosen and even the straps, the belts etc. The girl even has tiny little bows in her hair so you can really dress them up as much or as little as you want and have a lot of fun with these characters.  The characters are small enough that they can fit into our carousel and also into our Ferris Wheel and they are actually holding their hands up because they’re holding onto the included beer glasses, but if you were to sit them inside the carousel or the Ferris Wheel it would almost look as though they were waving to someone in the crowd who is standing on the outside of the carousel. 

We can see endless possibilities where this die will be pulled out on a regular basis and is sure to become a staple, regular component and a part of your Christmas crafty stash builder.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
