Scrappy Tails is excited to announce our first ever advent calendar, full of amazing and beautiful Metal Craft dies, sure to delight your Christmas/ Winter Holiday crafting this year.
Hidden behind each of the 12 advent calendar doors are fun Metal Craft dies, designed to create beautiful handmade Christmas tree ornaments and/or gift tags. Our ornaments are designed to be 3 dimensional fun ornaments. In total you will receive 10 different sets of ornaments and each set is designed to create two different styles of ornaments- you are able to create 20 unique ornaments with this calendar. Also included with the main ornament dies, you will receive ornament accessories, like two different styles of ornament bows, different hangers & toppers for your ornaments, as well as a tassel for the bottom of your ornament. Also included is a beautiful pine bow with a tiny berry sprig and a small pinecone to further decorate the top of your ornaments. Everything coordinates and no detail was left out.
Without giving away too much, and to make sure to keep the “surprise element” alive as you open each door, we won’t reveal all of the ornament types here, but rest assured you will receive some fabulous and very different styles of ornaments, including traditional ball shaped ornaments, a gorgeous Christmas tree shape, a huge 7 inch+ long icycle style finial and so much more. I guess you will just have to get one of these gorgeous treasures and start opening doors to see all the wonderful surprises contained within.
Please note, our Advent Calendar only contains craft dies (no inexpensive fillers here!)
Advent Calendars are available for a very limited time in our shop - on a first come first serve basis. This is Scrappy Tails Crafts first ever Advent Calendar and the ornaments and dies contained within will only be available in this configuration within this calendar and will not be sold separately in the future. We hope that some customers may see these little ornaments as a unique opportunity to “collect” some really unique ornaments from our little company.

Directions for metal craft die use:
- Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
- Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
- These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
- Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
- Share your beautiful projects with us at #scrappytailscrafts
