We are so excited to introduce our first of two 2025 Christmas/ Winter Holiday product lines this October. This posting here is for our A7 sized (5x7 inch) Polar Express Pop Up Card Metal Craft Die Set, which can be used to create a fun 3D Christmas train to be added to the front of our brand new Polar Express Caboose Pop up(sold separately). This Polar Express Train Pop Up Card set is the largest set in the collection. We have included so many layering details and accessories that we needed to add all the goodies onto not just one, but rather two full 8.5x11 die sheets. It is a huge set that will give you so many options when creating your Train Pop up cards.

The set gives you the main train front and the layering details like the framing, the windows, the wheel bases and even the small pop up mechanism that allows you to glue two trains back to back to create a 3D structure that will stand up independently, while still also folding down flat in order to fit into an A7 (5x7 inch) sized envelope. This set here also includes a beautiful display of a simple Christmas garland with bows and a wreath also with a bow and little bells. You can layer all the train elements up and paper piece the train together with your favorite color combinations from traditional red/green/ gold, to candy cane fun in red/white or maybe more elegant with black/gray/silver & white and even an icy blue train looks fabulous for a gorgeous winter card. These trains are extra neat if used as party decor, table settings, name place holders etc. These trains (as well as the matching caboose) would also come in handy when you are prepping for your next baby shower or little girls or boys birthday party. Just dress up the train in pink or blue or add your favorite zoo animals, carnival clowns or even dinosaurs to the cabooses to celebrate your little once favorite characters for his/her child birthday party.

This die set is a nice size and includes many cool details and accessories to give you a great foundation for your Christmas train projects. You can also easily add a small whole to the top of the train and the caboose and string them up as small ornaments for your Christmas tree or as eye candy on your gift packages and present bags. Add multiple cabooses back to back for a long train effect. Consider yo string up the train with multiple cabooses for a cool garland home decoration.

This Metal Craft Die can be combined with any other products/ images from our latest Polar Express Christmas Train collection, which released in October 2025 and that are sold separately.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
