This “Dracula’s Lair” Metal Craft Die set coordinates with the “A7 Dracula cover plate” metal craft die set to give you additional images to decorate your cards or A7 Pop up book shadow boxes. We are trying to make it easier for our customers to use their pop up books by providing enough additional images to go beyond a fabulous book/ card front panel and to take the design into the inside of your cards and books. Of course this set can also be used completely stand alone as well.

Included in this die set you will get a 2 layered shaped vampire coffin, which makes room for a nested sentiment that reads “Trick or treat” in a “Halloween-ish” font. It also has a cross on the top and some ornate swirls on the top and bottom of the sentiment. The sentiment is designed to be added to the center of the smaller of the two coffin layers. You will also receive a regular burial coffin, which has some intricate design on it to make it as plain or as fancy of a coffin as you like. There are many decorative elements on this coffin that will look especially cool when you use your metallic card stocks, especially for the coffin front hard wear and coffin handles. Then you will also receive a three candle candelabra, a gothic tall window panel, that you can dress up with blood splatters if you want to include those (btw: that is totally optional as they are separate dies. The gothic window is very cool on its own and you don’t have to use the blood splatters if you don’t like them). Then we will have a small, but delicately detailed “beating heart” die. It comes together complete with veins, other blood vessels, heart chambers and all the anatomy that makes up a human heart. It turns into a pretty delicate heart, if you like to add this element to your cards. Furthermore, we are including Dracula’s hand, which could be a cool detail to make it appear as though he is coming out of either of the two coffins. Just glue the hand up to the edge of the coffin and add the beginnings of his ruffled shirt to the hand and it looks like he is just getting ready to ascend from his coffin. Then we are also including a trio of three small bats, flying about in his dungeon/ cellar. Also included is a huge bat. Her wing span is over 4 inches and this bat demands attention on any card. The bat comes together in two main layers plus some small added details for the face, belly and ears of the bat. For many die companies, this bat would likely be a stand alone die set, but we included all of the images together for you in one big set. This set will be delivered to you on two large separate die sheets and it is a great value.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
