This “Witch’s Lair” Metal Craft Die set coordinates with two different products. In our spring collection, we released the “A7 Library Window Pop up Die”, which is basically a library room within a home. Many of the images in the “Witch’s Lair” can coordinate and even replace some of the “Library window” images. If you already own that set, I highly recommend to take a look at the “Witch’s Lair” to extend your “Library window” use.

The “Witch’s Lair” also coordinates very well with the “A7 Spellbook Cover Plate” metal craft die set to give you additional images to decorate your cards or A7 Pop up book shadow boxes. We are trying to make it easier for our customers to use their pop up books by providing enough additional images to go beyond a fabulous book/ card front panel and to take the design into the inside of your cards and books. Of course this set can also be used completely standalone as well.

Included in the “Witch’s Lair” Metal Craft Die set, is a witch’s house dream come true. It starts out with a robust almost 6 inch tall door into her domicile, complete with a background die, with the bricks/ cobblestones set around her door frame, the door itself, which is complete with a cool window design and then of course the steps leading up to her door. You can create a hinge on the door and have a witch (sold separately) standing right in the door way, if you wanted too.  The words “Happy Halloween” fit perfectly on the arch above her door frame. You can add this door to the front of a pop up book. Then you get “enticed to come in”…. Inside her home, be ready to be awestruck. She has a huge shelf - about 6 inches tall, complete with book sets, a skull, a variety of potion bottles, elixer bottles (some with a second detail layering piece.). These bottles and books come in different shapes and sizes and are scattered about the shelf. Of course you will get all the layering pieces to create an amazing looking shelf with all the colors that you love to use. Also included is a good sized nightstand, complete with a stack of books and a cob web. Then you will find her dress form, with a mighty beautiful dress, layered up with cute details of course. Afterall, she is a fabulous witch with a sense of style. You will receive a witch hat for the dress form and what witch can be without a glorious witch’s boot?  She has a kitty sleeping on top of her shelf and another kitty guarding her flying broomstick. Lastly, she has a double light scone hanging from the wall behind her nightstand and a jack-o’-lantern for her Halloween decor.  In short - no detail was left out and you will have a fabulous time assembling all the little pieces for a mighty gorgeous witch’s lair.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
