This is the main book corner die that is required in order to use the add-on critter bookmarks (sold separately). In this set here, you receive the metal die that cuts out the main corner that you then fold and glue together into a small square on one side and a triangle shape on the opposite side. This book corner than “hugs” the corner of the book page that you last read in order to easily return later on to the exact page in the book where you left off. The assembly is fast and easy and we promise you will have your first bookmark assembled in under 10 minutes and you will then probably be addicted to make more as they make such wonderful gifts for friends, colleagues, teachers, grads etc. This is so super easy, that you can create our bookmarks with young children and grandchildren. It wood be a fabulous and fun project and since it assembles so quickly, it is even a great project for kids with very short attention spans. Please note that this base set includes a few embellishments, including a square design of a pretty leaf pattern, a triangle leaf pattern, a triangle butterfly pattern as well as a small leaf, a word sentiment die that reads “book lover” and another few small word dies that all together read “one more chapter”.

Use all your favorite colors of papers, card stocks and of course specialty glitter and foiled papers and designer pattern papers to make your very own book corners.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
